β β β β β It was a big mistake ordering the veg and chicken thukpa from the Human Express. I have never seen such low standards when it comes to Chinese/Tibetian food. The thukpa was way too watery and completely bland. There wasn't any improvement on mixing the chilli sauce too. I eventually had to add a lot of salt to make it worth consuming but could not have the noodles as they were of very sub-standard quality. Ended up just having the soup in it and disposing everything else. Please avoid ordering thukpa from here

β β β β β Ordered three things from Hunan express. one chicken fried rice , one Hunan chicken and one chicken malayasian flat noodles. The chicken fried rice was very bland. there were no vegetables in the fried rice. Now coming to the main feedback , the malayasian noodles were spoilt. As soon as I opened the package, the rotten smell was everywhere . It cannot be a mistake to have packaged the food because it was very stale and was stinking. This is not the type of food service that is expected. I called back the restaurant and it didn't pick up the call.

β β β β β Not very flexible with the menu. They don't allow you to make a soup bowl of your own, only noodles are allowed. The soup we had was very refreshing and hot. Lota of vegetables and chicken strips inside. They use an electronic token system on the table being located in a crowded food court, a very useful utility. The menu has a lot of items to choose from. Food is not exceptional, little above average compared to other food court stalls. Pricing is similar to a food court in an upmarket mall.

β β β β β The food court was not as crowded and that left us a range of restaurants to choose from. Hunan Express caught our attention with the scents wafting out of their kitchen. We ordered 'Make your Bowl' and the concept is interesting and the food tasted alright had it not been for the spice levels. On repeated questioning and requests we were assured the meal would be 'mildly spiced'. We were appalled with the number of red chillies and the chilli flakes we found in the bowl of noodles we'd ordered. The flat wheat noodles and quantity of chicken was great and I loved the choice of toppings but not the spice levels. So not done!

β β β β β Ordered food through Swiggy - chicken fried rice, Malaysian flat noodles and diced chilly chicken. The Malaysian Flat Noodles (pictures attached) was ROTTEN. As soon as we opened the container, we could smell it.
Not to mention, when Swiggy contacted the restaurant, they were not reachable and hence the food could not be replaced and could not get a refund.
This restaurant is located in Food Court of Phoenix Marketcity.
PLEASE AVOID!!

β β β β β My first impression of this place was like any other so called Chinese/Asian food serving places. After a lot of contemplation I thought of giving it a try and I didn't regret it ?
So I tried their Tofu bowl with udon noodles , lots of veggies and chili basil sauce and a request to make it more spicy.
And I loved it. Would definitely recommend trying the bowls.
