★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This well known Blood Bank is a reputed Govt Blood Bank situated at the centrally located Manicktola Xing. A large number of people collect blood from here presenting the sample of the blood needed. It is one of the largest Blood Bank offered blood with minimum charges. It is opened 24 hours. Due to heavy rush and demanding situation people have to wait for blood for long. The authority, however, test the blood, match with the sample and then only hand over the required blood. Service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a huge opportunity to improve the service. No one is available in cash counter. They dont just bother even after several complain. Most important, they can provide only one unit per patient daily, which we can understand due to scarcity of blood. This is as per today (4th Nov'19) which I believe is temporary. So if there is anyone who need more than one unit, please check with them early and plan accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Learning from the website that the blood bank remains open 24x7, I went around 8 in the morning on 22 August 2019 only to see that it was closed. A man, maybe a staffer, was inside. He said it would open at 8.30 am. 8.30 am ticked away. Another person appeared inside, and being asked, said it would open at 9 am, and we should make a queue outside the gate. We were not let in, though there is a large room and chairs to sit in. A street vendor sarcastically informed that the bank would not open before 9.30 am. And 9.30 am too ticked away. Much to our relief, we were let in and took chairs. Around 10 am staffers, feigning to be too busy, began to appear. Meanwhile, the queue lengthened by and by. Around 10.15 am, the requisition counter opened, and blood samples were received. Then started a two-hour-long wait. The female employee at the delivery counter was bad-tempered and rude from the start for no apparent reason. [Perhaps she needs an in-service training to learn good behavior.] The work-culture of employees is at its nadir.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A state run blood bank. No money required for getting blood if you have a blood donation card or if the patient is admitted in any govt hospital. Now covid plasma is also available here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is good,bt u need to wait minimum 1 hour-1.30 hour to collect blood,maximum can vary on day of working and nmbr of stuffs.Bt needed blood types are available here..u can get blood for free if u have card,otherwise u have to pay money to receive it.you can get 1 quantity for each card,so if u need 2 quantity and u hv only one card,then u hv to pay money for extra one..Bt the attitude of female stuffs were very bad..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited multiple times for blood but never got even though I was having blood Donation card. They are not giving any value to the card. They forgot that to received the card when someone donated the blood to them. Every time asking for replacement same group donor even in your emergency and your card will be of no use.
Without reference you will never get blood here in this Covid-19 pandemic situation even though they have stock. Simply they will say bring same group donor. No Stock for poor or middle class people.
According to me all blood bank should be digitized like we can see Train , Flight tickets etc about the seat availability. Similarly everyone should know the availability of specific blood group they need online. Then we can solve this big issue.

Sometimes we can't able to arrange blood doner , at that time came here this place help you a lot .if you have any medical emergency need blood came hear .. one more thik avoid any type of broker or agent
