★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People can make manual errors once. The right approach then is to correct it next time. They made same error twice despite of me asking them to be careful. For a work merely of 15minutes max I had to spend close to 2 hours and visit branch twice and even after that it wasn't done. Not even once the lady apologised, on the contrary tried to take off her frustration by being rude to me in the end.
The issue was regarding printing a demand draft. It was tested several times on plain paper the first time, it didn't align proper. Ideally someone would stop then and there and seek help or get it fixed but she went on and printed on demand draft anyway, obviously it would be crazy misaligned. I was then asked to deposit it anyway saying it will work, she gave me her number in case anything wrong. I objected but she insisted. I went on to deposit, it was rejected, I returned, she took longer this time, I kept on waiting patiently, again she attempted to test on normal paper to print, again it was misaligned, I asked her to call a technician, she ignored, once again she went on to repeat same exact same precisely same mistake. And then she has the audacity to show previous and current DD which looked the same massively misaligned and tell me now it's ok. At this stage I realised how incapable the person is who permitted a person in denial to accept a mistake to sit at a customer facing desk.
ICICI never fails to disappoint me. After this incident I decided to go with HDFC for a home loan requirement.
