★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an interdisciplinary programme in IIT Bombay. The core topics are Optimisation, Stochastic processes, Game Theory, Supply Chain Management, Operations Analysis, Machine Learning and everything related to it. It's a vast field to explore.
Faculties are extremely good to guide and all of them are gem.
M.Sc-PhD Dual Degree on OR, M.Tech on IEOR and PhD programme is available.
Placements are very descent mainly in the area of optimisation, analytics etc.
IEOR Day is celebrated by our department each year which is basically talks and discussions about Operations Research.
Department is a 4 storey building but no lift.
