One of the BEST place in Panihati. I have been going there for many years to visit Sri Sri Gouranga Nityananda mahaprabhu. Some features of the temple are- 1) It is situated beside the Ganga and near the lilabhumi of Sri Nityananda mahaprabhu. 2) Hare Krishna kirtan 3) Delicious Mahaprasadam 4) Lectures on Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Charitamrita etc. 5) It has stall for books, pictures etc. 6) Sunday Feast and many more. I request everyone to come here to get the blessings of Sri Gauranga & Sri Nityananda and make your life happy and successful. " Aao Karo Aaram , Vaishnava Seva Dham "..... Hare Krishna..

I have visited Sri Sri Gaur Nitai temple at Panihati many times and feel like visiting the temple again and again. The heritage of place with Vaishnava culture and practices is amazingly maintained by Radhapada Prabhuji very well. Panihati is a unique place with temples and ghats on bank of river Ganges and stories of visits of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu and many spiritual leaders which makes experience in this place very interesting. For me it is one of the best wonders of the world where you find peace and happiness. Chira Mela and many other festivals are very well organised throughout the year by which devotees gets attracted. Sri Sri Prabhupada has left a wonderful legacy of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, which ISKCON devotees are continuing. I hope Panihati Municipal Corporation also work in coordination to enrich the experiences as many devotees across the globe keep visiting this place throughout the year. One must visit this place once atleast in their life time

The temple gives you the exhilarating experience of what spirituality is all about. In the small town in Bengal, it has huge following, devotees offering prayers and bhoga; doing kirtan and dancing, the place looks like epicentre of transcendental spirituality. If you all want to be transported to spiritual meditation, a must place to visit in this lifetime.

It was earlier known as Gour Nitai Mandir but a few years back it was taken over by ISKCON. Beautiful ambiences associated with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Also delicious Prasad available during lunch for only Rs.50/-

The temple is at the bank of river Ganga and is only about 10 minutes of driving distance from Sodhpur station, which is only 30 min away from Sealdah. The atmosphere is very cool and nice and can sumptuous prasadam with very nominal donation. Don't forget to visit the nearby Banyan(?) tree under which Nityananda prabhu came and whole pastime with Raghunath Das Goswami happened.
