★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and famous temple at Tara Cultural Trust Mumbai. Has white marble idol of Lord Shiva as the presiding deity.
It was consecretated in 1969 with the efforts of Swami Chinmayananda. It is considered very auspicious. Every year on Mahashivaratri day a large number of devotees (estimated to be around 100,000) visit the temple.
When you visit the temple, do not miss the exhibition called Chinmaya Pradeep nearby as well the bookshop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really a spiritual and peaceful Shiv temple. Near the powai Garden or LT Company Powai. Timing 5 to 11am and 3.30 to 8 pm. Everything Arti at 6.30pm.. Today is Maha shivratra so crowded. Temple run by Chinmayanand Swami Trust.
