★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The original temple is said to be some 12000 years old, it is situated inside the IIT campus, not so easily visible from road coz of thick vegetation on its way. The powai lake is easily visible from there, a gud spot to spend some quality time and breathe fresh air.

When we enter through main gate of IIT, we take left towards staff quarters and then at the road end we can see temple on the right side.
Here, Ganesh ji, Shiv ji, And Durga Ji idols are present and we can get water here as well to wash our hands and legs.
We can get flowers as well. Powai lake can be seen from this temple as it is on the bank of this lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main deity is Padmavati Devi and it's situated inside IIT-Bombay campus near Lake side. Because it's inside the campus access to this temple is limited only for those who can enter the campus.The ambience and silent atmosphere gives an extra energy and refreshed mind from this place.

•The only way to reach the temple is by entering IIT campus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well a very old temple in IIT Bombay premises it is dedicated to Mata Parvati. A relatively quite place situated among the intellectuals the beautiful scenery due to it being situated on the bank of Powai lake is mesmerising. A must visit if you ever visit IIT Bombay. Even the way to the temple goes along the bank of the lake.
