★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest ambe mata mandir in Valsad. It is said to be around 150 years plus old mandir. It was during peshwa raj as per local people here. The temple is situated in the heart of the city but as years went by and progress in the country lots of buildings and shops have surrounded it. The taffic is a big problem and due to which during navratris and poonam there is a traffic jam here. Big ready made garments and jewellers shops have sprunged up. The temple surrounding place is quite big and navratri if required can be done inside. The temple is very nicely kept and the cleanliness and the discipline can be seen as we enter the temple. The murthy of different devi’s is very old and the system of continuous somebody seating inside the temple and taking care of everything is maintained. Seating arrangement can be done for old people if required as it is as per the owners of the temple to decide. The lanes are very narrow as old style layout is still maintained and now Valsad Nagarpalika cannot do anything to remove the surrounding shops as they are now very old. For senior citizens and handicapped people it is bit difficult to come and also wheelchair has to be carried inside.
