★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this place to check out the holi preparations. Unfortunately there was a lot of police protocols that did not allow you to enter the premises. Holi is a time all rules change, so it's best you check with a local before visiting during holi. Everything is super commercialized in the area so you will be asked to pay extra for every entry into their gates. What I've never seen before was the holi flame being taken from city palace and being passed to other places in Jaipur. If you can stay there till the time holi pyre is lit, you must not miss it.
