The zoo is not so big as if you are expecting. Also the management there is not good at all. After looking to the animals you wonder if they are even getting foods and proper condition to survive. They are there just for the sake of showpiece in so called zoo. The water they live in haven't been changed since years and smells so badly. It was a drastic experience

The zoo is quite okay... As per the visit I did, I didn't find any carnivores animals such as lion, panther, hyena etc. The surrounding is great though, feels like we are in some sanctuary. And there is also a museum about the animals found in Rajasthan, with stuffed animals and skins as showpiece.

As the name suggests, the Jaipur Zoo is located in Jaipur, the capital city of the Indian State of Rajasthan and is spread across a total area of 35 acres. The zoological garden is home to the richest fauna of Rajasthan and boasts to be the largest zoo as well as one of the finest sanctuaries in the state. The zoological garden is also the fourth largest gharial (an endangered crocodile species) breeding farm of the country. The zoological garden was built with the intention to preserve and conserve the wildlife that included mammals, birds and reptiles. Based on the animal families that dwell within the zoological garden, the garden is divided into two parts, one for mammals and the second for reptiles and birds.

I would give a fair warning to everyone. There are not much animals here expect for few deers, crocodiles, ostrich and other birds. No tigers or leopards. Though they charge a minimal cost of 22 rupees there are not much you can enjoy. Most of the animals have been shifted to nearby National parks. Half the enclosures were empty. Please don't waste your time

This is now only a birds park. All animals from here are moved to Nharghar biological park. Hera are many birds and crocodile and deers . There are flemingo also. The interesting fact about this zoo is that it also holds a museum inside its boundaries. This museum is home to the history of Rajasthan and its wildlife. In 2018, the Jaipur Zoo was announced as a bird park. The zoo is initiated by the Jaipur by the Central Zoo Authorities.

Not so good. If you have been in some good zoo like in Delhi, Ahmadabad then you wouldn't enjoy it as there are almost birds in the zoo. If you want to see other animals like tiger, monkey, hippopotamus and other sight seeing animals. You should reconsider coming here. It is the responsibility of Rajasthan Govt to take care of animals in zoo and improve it as this zoo is in capital of Rajasthan. If you just want to spend some time in fresh air you can consider going there in greenery and ticket price is around 20 for adults.

I visited the zoo recently and there are no carnivores when asked to zookeepers I got to know that they have been shifted to Nahargarh Zoo recently. There are some really beautiful birds in here. But there is no proper maintenance done here. If the condition is improved it would really be an amazing place to visit with family and friends.
