★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit. I went to the Jama masjid at night. There were hardly any people about. Being a non Muslim, I was not sure whether I could enter or not, so I asked an elderly gentleman who was exuding the mosque. He said I could go in & escorted me in himself.
The mosque was brilliantly lit from outside. I did i was the only visor & had the whole mosque to sit in tranquility or peace. I took a few moments to disk in the atmosphere of the place.
I would say this is among the more beautiful mosques in India & well maintained.
