★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This mosque is located inside the New Market shopping arcade in TT Nagar, Bhopal. A pretty large mosque, it has beautiful marble panels, along the inner walls, chiselled and inlaid with colourful stones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Masjid-i Jahān-Numā (lit. the 'World-reflecting Mosque'), commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India.[1]
It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahanbetween 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees, and was inaugurated by an Imamfrom Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan.The mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three great gates, four towers and two 40 metres high minarets constructed with strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 people . There are three domes on the terrace which are surrounded by the two minarets. On the floor, a total of 899 black borders are marked for worshippers. The architectural plan of Badshahi Masjid, built by Shah Jahan's son Aurangzeb at Lahore, Pakistan, is similar to the Jama Masjid.

The place is frequently visited by a huge number of Muslims every year. The best part about this monument is its two big towers that can be easily seen from a distance.
Jama Masjid portrays a classic and rich example of Islamic culture. The mosque has got a small pond in the center and its altar has marble flooring. The white columns, alabasters, and arches of the mosque portray a beautiful sight. Irrespective of being a small shrine, it is a noticeable place in Bhopal.

If you are lover of history and structure, you would certainly like it. Beautiful mosque made with red stone by Bhopal's rulers.
Go early morning or else road would be crowded enough. No cars, only two wheelers can reach.
Enjoy 'Chowk' market around it , heart of old city.Mosque is surrounded by gold & cloth market. Take a walk from Ibrahimpura to Jama masjid to get the essence of old Bhopal
