β β β β β This place is located at MIT college road. So you can reach easily there, but on weekends you will not get parking easily even if waiting time is also half an hour. So you this about the popularity of this. By taste it is good with a huge ambiance of 3 floor and also service was really good .
So the conclusion is go and feel. it's awesome to go with family

β β β β β The malvani surmayi curry was ok, it looked more like Goan curry and spice level was very low, unlike malwani dishes. The pepper grilled prawns were ok. Surprisingly all three accompaniments of sea food - Sol kadhi, amboli and rice bhakri were unavailable. The jeera rice and the buttermilk was good. The bar menu is good.

β β β β β Simply amazing. Being a huge place I thought this place would cost a lot. On the contrary, the prices are totally reasonable and the quality of food is equally great.
Service was really good. We ordered Punjabi mainly and the food was very well cooked and tasted good.
Large variety of food available to choose from.
I definitely recommend this place for veg lovers.

β β β β β The first place that I saw, that has changed its name so many times
Purna bramha (pure veg) -> Par Bramha (pure veg) -> Janjira (pur veg) -> Janjira seafood resto & bar.
Ok let's get back to food. As I was with vegetarian company, couldn't try nonveg that much. Tried 'Surmai new tawa' as per recommendation of captain, it was ok. It had too much curry patta for my taste. I am not an expert but I felt fish was not so fresh.
Anyways, veg soup and starter was good. As it is (at this moment) a seafood special resto, veg options are limited.
If you are pure vegetarian n want to explore somthing new. I am sorry to say, this is not the place for you.
Ordered 'Janjira special' for main course, but sadly there was nothing special about it. Looks like they are mainly focused towards non-vegetarians.
Ambience and service is excellent. Not a word to complain.
After looking at bill, I felt some items are overpriced.

β β β β β Earlier this place pure vegetarian place but now it is seafood restaurant with bar.
Its owned by same guys who own popular nisarg seafood and it has another sister Restaurant in navi Peth.
we went for the dinner and seated in upper floor.
Despite being weekday service was slow
we ordered
1.chicken monchow soup - nothing great just the way it should be
2.Garlic Butter prawns - I expected it to be on the level of nisarg but it wasnt anywhere close.
small prawns with some sweet sauce ar keast. they were cooked properly.
3. chicken tandoori and angara kebab -
both chicken dishes were great. perfectly spiced and cooked.
4.surmai masala - did not eat but my friend liked it
5 chicken dum biryani - bit oily but was good
For drinks they gave ridiculous looking glasses citing license issues

β β β β β Another place for some good, tummy satisfying seafood experience.
They are running an amazing seafood festival that includes seafood buffet starting from just Rs 700 with many options to choose from.
On our visit we tried below things from their a la cart-
*Bombil Koliwada, a deep fried starter, paradise for bombil lovers. Fish was fresh and well cooked.
*Surmai Fry, a surmai steak marinated in red medium spicy masala and tawa fried. Not oily and simply yummy.
*Lemon Coriander Prawns Soup, a soul satiating, tangy, mildly spicy soup is a perfect way to start your meal.
In mains :
*Malvani Fish Curry, coconut based curry was smooth, rich and not very spicy. As rice bhakari wasn't available for lunch we coupled it with Naan and rice. It tasted absolutely tasty with both but went very well with the rice.
Along, that we were served with tempting sukat chutney and refreshing Solkadhi which elevated the overall meal.

β β β β β Found a newly opened restaurant Janjira serving seafood in Kothrud pune. They have valet parking for guests. Spacious restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. They serve a wide range of the freshest seafood you can get with inspiration from the western coast of India with their own unique touch. We ordered el la cart items but they also have a seafood buffet starting from 649 rs however this needs to be booked In advance. So we had bombil made 2 ways one was the classic rava fry and the other was other Koliwada style both were really tasty with extremely fresh bombil which happen to be my favourite fish and was one of the best prepared bombil I have had. Next HD the chicken tikka amaze which was really good and with a great smoky flavour. Then had the signature pomfret new tava which was super spicy and complemented the fish perfectly. Next we had the super interesting crunchy and scrumptious veg naram dil which is a must have and really unique dish I really recommend. Next we had the haldi chili prawns which is another signature dish and really bring it the flavour of the large tiger prawns really enjoyed this .Next we had Amboli and steam rice served with Goan prawn curry and Malvani crab curry both of which were authentic and super tasty. Washed down this scrumptious meal with a super tasty soo kadi.
