The school has science arts and vocational streams and qualified staff.Big football ground where many players started there carrier.There are hospital, market,bank in this village. Along with zamindér Roy family other important families are chowdhury, Barik,Sarkar,Chakraboty ,Bhattacharya, Mangal etc

Overall I loved my school & I missed it too. the school is one of the heritage school in our sub-division. (Since:-1881)
