★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic picnic spot. It is only 12 kms far from Chunar fort and 37 kms far from main gate of (Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi. A perfect picnic spot. I went on 28th February with my son and it is an awesome place and I was astonished to see the beauty of this place. pleasant ,cool and pollution free picnic spot. A new road is constructed on the wall of the dam. You may do worship in the temple of Ashtbhuji Mata Temple situated on the top of a hill and an another Goddess temple is also situated on another hill, very near to dam. Perfect place for photography.
