Its a type of boarding school where girls and sc,st students get free of cost education and other daily accomodation. Free education is offered for all students upto class 8. Its a brainchild of our former prime minister late sri rajiv gandhi.

The vidyalaya is co-educational residential school fully financed by the Govt. of India through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

β β β β β Visited JNV Banipur in July 2010 during Chess Regional meet. We were stayed at the old campus, which was about 1km from the new one. Big & attractive campus. Mess food was very delicious & enjoyed a lot. Visited nearby local market also. Loads of memories & good time!

I have studied 7 years of my life(2007-2014), from that 7 years, accumulate so many memory and experience which is ineraseable for rest of my life..
