β β β β β Here's one police station with cops who not just know their job but are also very courteous. Women are given importance and their issues are looked into asap. Starting from the constables, writer (barring one or two) to as you go up the hierarchy they are all very reassuring.

β β β β β Beware of parking in Jayanagar they will have parking board with just odd or even number either side of the road. They will tow your vehicle and tell you story you have to park based on dates and will ask you fine of 1650 for 2 wheeler

β β β β β Be careful when you park car at Jayanagar. For just 15 minutes my car was parked opposite to lalitha jewellery for paying gold chit amount. Returning back found Rs 1000 fine challan pasted on car's win shield. However admitted our mistake and went in search of jayanagar traffic police station and paid Rs 1000 with my credit card, as we were not having cash. For our shock and surprise, The receipt issued was with some other car no and owners name. Its big story, however with no mistake of ours we family requested for change of corrected bill. After waiting time, the same wrong bill was hand corrected, stamped and given to us. If it was not checked, then my car fine would have been still remained for which we have paid fine already... Please be careful and alert.

β β β β β The Jayanagar Police Station is located 5 minutes away from the Jayanagar Metro station. The station serves as both the Police Station as well as the Traffic Police Station for the Jayanagar ward. The police station is open at all times of the day and night. The Police staff are extremely cooperative and helpful with all the citizens who come there. There is a CCTV surveillance put up for safety. From the main road to the Station there is a small ramp. However, the entrance to the bank is through a set of steps only. The width of the steps is in accordance with the standards of public spatial requirements. There is no access through ramps, which is a potential disadvantage for physically challenged people. The buffer space around the structure of the Station is quite sufficient, leaving space within their compound. The pavement outside is well defined. However, it is covered by several vehicles that have been towed by the Police. There is no well defined parking area for two wheelers or four wheelers either, thereby prompting the people to park their vehicles on the footpath, rendering the people walking by disturbance and discomfort. The outsides are well shaded with a canopy of trees and well-lit during the night with drop lights and street lights. However, the area is well shaded allowing people to move around during peak day hours easily. It is also very close to the Jayanagar Shopping Complex, Maiya's and other Restaurants.

β β β β β Gives only wrong information and delays the work. Worst police work I've seen until date. They don't cooperate and everyone is very mean and procrastinates their work. Not at all punctual.

The owner of MI store jayanagar uses his local influence in police stayion to threaten the customers. Police was behaving like goons and hired gundas . MI staff was shouting on all customers and police was treating all the customers that they will beat them and pushing them .
