★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m doing the Fashion Design 3 year diploma from here. Most of the Faculty is pretty good, syllabi covered is also vast. Equipment is average, especially the sewing machines which I assume aren’t regularly serviced and hence are hard to work with.

Moreover the teachers are extremely helpful and always available in case of any doubt clearing. The college organises extra workshops to increase the knowledge of students and give a real time exposure in the design world. The internships and placements are also very adequate and students gets trained for all the competitions as well.
Recommendable for those who want to do something in design.

I switched my profession from HR role to fashion design to pursue my passion for designing.
I was looking for fashion schools to acquire formal education in the field of fashion designing and I came across JD Institute of FashionTechnology. It has been a wonderful learning experience at JD. We had good learning, training, interactive sessions, online Industrial sessions and workshops. I have attended all of them. Towards the end, I have so much insight into the industry, that I feel very confident to work in the industry. I would like to express my gratitude towards my faculties who were so calm and patient with all of us.There were always some extra activities going around to participate. TFA, was one of the platform which has made me work as a fashion designer already where I learnt and improvised my skills. My family and husband have also been a great support in my journey to follow my dream.
Finally, I would extend my special thanks to the placement department at JD Institute which has helped me to secure a dream job for myself and contribute to the industry. I am thankful to JD for giving me wings to fly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really had an amazing experience studying at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, as i have gained a lot of knowledge about different aspects of fashion design during my course. I have acquired skills in designing, merchandising, CAD, Photoshop, garment manufacturing, pattern making, illustration and much more. I really acknowledge all the faculties at JD Institute for mentoring us to this level where we can stand and fend a job for ourselves in the industry. I have achieved great experience during the annual fashion awards as well. The event give me a lot of exposure towards exploring the entire design process from conceptualization, to design, to developing the collection and finally taking it to the ramp. Special thanks to the Placement department at JD Institute for providing me the best placement according to my skills. I am super satisfied with my placement. The college keeps mentoring and supporting me till date even after passing out from the college two years back.

The teachers are supportive and friendly. They helped me a lot with my queries. They are experienced and qualified. Classes are neat and clean. I enjoyed every class and lecture here at JD Institute. I would like to thank the teachers and staff of JD for being nice to me. The placement department provides excellent internships and placements. I'm thankful for the assurance of the department in providing me an opportunity after the completion of my course. At the current export house where I am placed, I have learnt many things about fashion and styling. Thanks to JD.
