Had come yesterday and will be checking out tomorrow. Stayed in a cottage named “SAL” and the experience Da of now is wonderful. We both were senior citizens and as such enjoyed a discount. The cottages are well maintained with all the required facilities. There is a pond in the middle surrounded by cottages and a pathway excellent for morning walks. The rooms have coffee/Tea maker and tea bags are in place. Mineral water along with a welcome drink is served in the room. Toiletries are kept in the room in a paper bag. The restaurant is clean and the cutlery provided were excellent . The food is not at all costly and good. The behaviour of the staff are very polite and they are very helpful with excellent room service. I simply lived the place and the location is next to Rajbari. To visit Rajbari one has to buy tickets @ Rs 15 from here only. Thank you for the hospitality and please keep up the standard. Only suggestion : Toilets could be maintained still better since the basins and fittings are all of Jaquar and should be kept spotless to enhance the value of the stay.

Not a good experience. Rooms were clean but in comparison to price, was not upto the mark. The surroundings are not at all well maintained. But the biggest let down is the restaurant. Very expensive food but quality was worse than road side stall. We were literally eating outside rather than dining in the restaurant. Service was equally bad.

We visited during last week of November, 2021. Booking was easy. Rooms were clean and spacious. Toilet was good and complete with required amenities. Manager of the property was very co-operative. Staff were friendly and courteous. Services were prompt and upto the mark. Food was good. Location of the property suited us as this was located at a calm and quiet place not very far from the centre of the town. The garden was well maintained. We loved the stay and would definitely recommend others.

Over priced room rent. Avoid room number 109 or 9 (condition of room and furniture is not in good condition. Go through the bills carefully, you can avoid the optional payment if you want. Service (restaurant) boys are cooperative. In short, if you are not Sr. Citizens ( to avail concession) don't waste your money here.

A very calm and serene environment... away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre... the place has a central pond around which cottages are radially arranged... nice for morning walk as well... the cottage rooms are fairly large... with adequate amenities... the food is also good... overall highly recommended for both locals and westerners...

Not at all satisfactory in terms of all respect. Manager and staffs are not competent and their way of dealing and talking with tourists are not professionals and standard. Quantity and quality of complimentary breakfast is not at all good and those cheap quality and quantity breakfast need not required to be served to show off the generosity of tourism department of the government of WB rather they should maintain the cottages/ rooms properly and concentrate to provide better quality food and services to the tourists. Food is comparatively costly than its taste and quality. Good management and staffs are required to provide better service.

Well maintained campus area. The difference between the cottage rooms and the normal ones are insanely absurd whereas the price varies by just 200 bucks. Please do NOT book the cottages. The food here sucks big time. There is a restaurant nearby, we got good food there. Staff behaviour is also not at all professional.

The place is huge and peaceful. Lots of trees are there and also a small park for children. There is also cycling facility for tourists. There is also a big pond and ducks and swans roam around freely. Biggest problem is that they charge ₹50 for each meal delivered at your room number
