★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Johnson market at Richmond road in 1929.It was often referred to as Russell market’s poor cousin. It was formerly called as Richmond town market as it catered to that locality and was renamed after a British civil servant. The land on which the market sits belonged to Aga Ali Asker,a rich businessman from Persia, who is said to have donated the plot for the market.Apart from being a trading centre, this market also boosts of some exotic eateries like Makkah café famous for tea,Fanoos and Madeena stores famous for samosas

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had gone to get vermicelli for Eid-ul-Fitr. But it was not available as not many people liked it as a main dish in Bangalore. The market was quite nice and close to a beautiful mosque in Bangalore. If you want good quality vermicelli, visit Shivajinagar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit in these place.
Makkah Cafe - Ask for Hot Suliman ( Lime Tea).
Sip it along with Chicken Samosa, Onion Samosa or Biscuits.
Durga Bakery - Salt and Butter Biscuits, Dil Pasand ( Garnished Bread laced with nuts and raisins)
I swear it the taste hasn't changed over years. Pls don't go by location or people around, you would freak out
Didn't like, welcome to blame. Will take it.
