★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best non vegetarian markets in bangalore. The fish market opens at around 4AM and wide variety of the fishes are available at wholesale prices. Fish, mutton, chicken, prawns, squid and crabs are available. It is usually crowded in the mornings and till 8AM the fishes are available at wholesale prices. Outside of the fish market, you can find the vegetable market.

This market was built by the British in 1927. It sells everything from fruits to flowers. This market also sells meat, fish, vegetables etc. It has bakeries as well. There is a clock tower in this market which is forgotten. Many local people shop and buy stuff from this market. However, this market gets filthy and dirty at times. Had roamed in this market looking at the fruits, vegetables, meat, fish etc as a child.
This market is an ideal place for those who would like to shop and buy the daily requirements that are needed while in Bengaluru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest markets in Bangalore, built by the British.. Good place to buy Fruits, vegetables, Fish, Lamb, beef, Flower garlands, dry fruits, etc... Lots of tea shops around, so try the onion samosas & chai... Seafood is very cheap & fresh compared to any online store, preferably mornings...Note: Dont buy seafood on Mondays, cos u dont get fresh stock on Mondays in Bangalore... You can also visit the St. Mary's Basicilica Shrine also which is hardly 100 meters, parking for 2 wheelers available opp to church.... Overall a good place to stroll around & explore... Enjoy Life, Be Happy... ??
