"As an intern with Joining Hands, I feel inspired by the work that is being done at the training center in Badarpur, Delhi. Joining Hands is addressing an urgent need in the community, and in India as a whole, to educate and empower youth so that they can choose their own futures. I am really impressed with the multi-faceted approach to youth development that Joining Hands employs. Students are looked after, counseled, and made to feel powerful in their own lives, and the results can be seen in each batch graduates. The students themselves are an inspiration, overcoming obstacles every single day to come to the center. For this reason, I will continue to support Joining Hands in all the ways I can even after my internship is over."
