It's a very old and important government administration building. Many government offices are here like Women and child development, Dept of Statistic and planning, Directorate of Panchayat, Civil Registration etc.

A series of (mainly) government offices. With a fairly popular cooperative supermarket on the ground floor. Used to be a bee-hive of activity (specially the contentious Transport Department) at one stage. Now many of the more important offices have probably moved elsewhere.

One of the first multi storied buildings to be built in Panjim back in the sixties, this was originally a set of 80-90 apartments for senior government officers along with street facing retail areas on the ground floor. The apartments were very well planned with cross ventilation, great views of Panjim city and Altinho Hill and excellent usage of space. By the 70s, the building's central location resulted in a number of the apartments being converted into government offices and the uppermost floor of apartments being converted into a function hall. Other notable additions included a rooftop observatory and astronomy club. By the late nineties the last of the families who resided here moved out and the building was turned entirely into a complex of government offices.
