★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place isn't very easy to access. And I wouldn't suggest visiting this place in any time of the year apart from monsoons. It's dry and has nothing worthy to see. On top of that they charge you Rs.400 as parking fee for four wheelers. In a nutshell, it's not worthy the visit.
But the good thing is, they allow you to take food and conduct school outings and picnics near the dam, though you have to contact them prior to the visit.

The best time to visit this place is early morning for sunrise or at sun set .. during the sun set the view was amazing and the water was covered with the red light of the sun

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for 1 day picnic with family... Best time to visit from monsoon to diwali.. you can stay there in tent which you can book online for 500 (without ac) 1500 (with ac). Food facility also available (120 for Gujarati thali) Atmosphere is very cool you can feel clean air. Also you can walk in forest... If you want to try local food, there is village called "bhaat" you can have there veg and non veg food. Try rotla and garlic paste it's famous for that.
