★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweets and Kaka Halwai goes hand in hand for most of the Punekars and the reason is unknown to me. Except for the Kaju Katli which does not differ much in taste from brand to brand the rest of the sweets are quite average in taste.
Nothing great about the Snacks too, Dhoklas and Samosas are the only good choices. It is quite an exaggerated place and since now its a brand so its over priced too. It would be a good attempt to explore and try the local sweet shops which has some really great selection to pick.

Lady at bill counter made debit with incorrect and more amount.... I'm still fighting to get my money back .... they are taking more time just to confirm amount is deposited or not in their account...as of now 1 day gone... Pathetic service by Kaka Halwai Tilak road

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got 500 g of Imarti from Kaka Halwai, Aundh, Pune at Rs. 120/- When we ate the Imarti it was tasting totally dry. Me and my friends didn't feel like eating it as it was tasting only like maida. We called the owner of the shop regarding this issue. He replied that they would exchange some sweet in place of Imarti. Me and my friend again went to the same shop approximately 2-3 km for the sweet exchange. One of the extremely rude working person in the shop weighed the Imrati and said that some of it was already consumed and they will exchange sweet only for that much amount. We had ate only 2 Imartis out of the 500 g which weighed around 50 g or so. The person returned us Rs.84/- out of Rs. 120/-. His way of communicating with the customer was full of arrogance. We bought another sweet and paid extra amount for it. Kaka Halwai staff didn't stand to our expectations. Henceforth, we will not be buying sweets from this shop. Also, a message for everyone taste any sweets before buying. Sometimes the shop people sell old items to customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Favorite & Their Specialty - Jalebis Keshariya & fried in Pure Ghee- Simply Delicious!!! Also Famous for Suralichy Wadi - Purely Maharashtrian Grandma like. There is also Basundi ( whenever available) - Both Delectable. Try these once.

But Samosa,Dhokla etc..snacks will not be hot if you visit in evening...

Anyway good shop served very well during covid pandemic.
