I have really streched my self and my personality to unbound limits with the help of my Gurukl Mr. Shinto Mathew. He knows the strength and limits of everyone and makes us to direct them in appropriate direction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been looking for a Kalari school for sometime and finally found Kalari Kendram last year. Situated in Noida, it is easily accessible by metro and is walking distance from Golf Course metro station. Students come from all over Delhi NCR and some even from outside of NCR, and what could feel like a long commute should not discourage any serious student.
The Kalari Gurukkal (teacher) Shinto Mathew is highly proficient in the practice of Kalaripayattu as well as Kalari Marma (massage therapy). He also understands individual limits, and encourages and pushes students based on where they are. Kalaripayattu is an ancient martial arts form and has the guru-shishya parampara at its center and the school follows this. Moreover snippets about the history and relevance of why something is done in Kalari is mixed seamlessly with practice lessons. Apart from the Gurukkal, lessons are also given by Ms. Kim, an experienced Kalaripayattu practitioner. Her presence adds feminine grace to what can otherwise be seen as an extremely masculine martial arts form. Personally, I have developed speed and agility through my practice and with every session I am more convinced about the inseparability of the mind-body. What drew me to Kalaripayattu is that it is not merely a form of workout but also encourages the practitioner towards a state of psycho-physical equilibrium.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best institute in Northern India for training in Kalaripayattu , where every student is paid equal attention by our teacher , our Guru ji(Shinto Mathew Sir). I have Been a part of Kalari Kendram since last 4 months and now Kalaripayattu has became an integral part of my life.
I feel really very good for being a part of this Kalaripayattu Temple and now I am urging my cousins , my relatives and my friends to join Kalari Kendram and learn this ancient and precious art of India i.e Kalaripayattu(the origin of all Martial Arts and the mother of all Martial Arts).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been over 7 months now that I have been training and learning at Kalari Kendram. I joined 5 months after delivery of my baby, wanted to get back strength and stamina. Got even more in terms of discipline and skill. You can leave it to Guruji if there is any strain or injury. Another thing, it’s a place where kids and adults can learn together, I and my nephew who is 6 years old started in the same class. As a discipline and continuation of Indian values I would want my daughters to learn Kalaripayattu when they come of age. ??

Circumstancially I got opportunity to learn this art only for one year and during my training I felt that Guruji has put his all to keep up the real standards of this most ancient art form. Quite away from business and profit making associations he runs this sacred centre, trying to sustain one of the most amazing wonder of acient India.
