★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kamdhenu never fails to deliver on the quality of their sweets and snacks. In Santoshpur, I think, this is the best place for sweets.
In these COVID-19 times the only thing that I dislike is that they keep stuffs completely open. The racks on which the sweets are kept are not covered. Today I saw the aloo dum tray kept completely open on an open shelf that would have been there for several hours during which numerous customers would have visited and sprayed their virus laden saliva all over the place. Considering that this is a premium store selling stuff at a premium price, this much awareness is expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have faced stale and smelly Rosogullas previously couple of times and recently on 29th July, 2021 in Jadavpur branch I gave orders for 30+ boxes for SHRADHYA ceremony and they filled all with rotten gulab jamun and hot alur dum. It was Doi Alur dum and being enclosed in the box hot, it got rotten within the day. The Gulab Jamun was already more than 1-2 days old. Imagine my horror after handing over all the boxes to the guests and when later in the evening I had few of the items from the left over boxes I was extremely frustrated and embarrassed. I AM NEVER GOING TO GIVE FURTHER ORDER TO KAMDHENU and also ADVISE MY FAMILY and FRIENDS to do the same. I called Jadavpur branch, they asked to bring the rotten things and get it replaced. But I already had to leave for Durgapur on an urgent basis and could not go change.
They might make good sweets and doi, but they are notorious for often selling stale items (2-3 days old depending on particular item). This I feel is primarily because they tend to have items in abundance than necessary. You visit any Kamdhenu shop big(Santoshpur, Lake Market) or small(Jadavpur), you will find their items over occupying the entire space and even those items which don't seem to finish up often. I really do not understand what is this "Bhora Dokan" with gondho mishti concept.
I am a Sweets connoisseur and I have sweets from Balaram Mullick, Sen Mahasay, Nalin, Nakur, Ganguram, Banchharm - you name it. I have not faced anything like this with anyone. I went through some of the reviews and not at all surprised to see that multiple folks had similar experience as mine.
If you really wanna succeed you have to stop feeding stale food to people.
IF Kamdhenu Owners or Management actually is reading this, I would appreciate if you PLEASE PLEASE take corrective action and stop rotating rotten items among the various shops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweets shop but nearby Hindustan sweets shop is available. However you can buy good and tasty sweets for your family and friends where lots of options are available for sweets. You have different options for dahi also like Mishti Dahi, Baked Dahi etc. This place is very well connected by road. Autorickshaw stand is near by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I’ve been a regular customer to this specific outlet in Jadavpur 8B bazaar and a pretty big fan of their sweets but not those shop keepers, today I went on a usual Rosogolla hunt but sadly came out empty handed as the shop keeper handed me a visible torn 100 rupees note which I in turn requested to change the torn note by instead the shopper lashed out on to me ,literally yelling and shouting at me to keep it as it is and that he doesn’t have time to deal with such matters so asked me to either accept the 100 note or leave the sweets behind so as a consumer I have a right to request which he in turn denied very rudely so I had to resort to keep the sweets to shop and return back, could expect such poor behaviour from a shop that I’ve always been regular too such poor aptitude of the staffs of the sweet shop indirectly represent the shop itself , not matter how much I preferred kamdhenus sweets I’ll never return to that shop again ,I request all consumers not to entertain such behaviours as shops like these often hold a falsified ego of quality that they reflect via their behaviour .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Behaviour of shopkeepers is the worst ever seen. Very rude, misguiding and even cheat customers coming from different states. Without consent pack unsaid and unordered sweets and charge. Pack wrong sweets and charge more from people who aren't local to this origin. Sky High prices, averages in taste.quality just good. My advice is to avoid being cheated

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 2 packets of 5 baked chumchums in each pack thru Swiggy, paying 240/- and additional 82/- for other charges. To our dismay we found 3 in one pkt and 4 in another packet ie clean 3 pieces SHORT !! We contacted Garia outlet where these were picked up by Swiggy. They were apologetic but what's the use, he agreed that it was due to wrong packaging !!
