★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a government nursery located just opposite Bonta Park. You can saplings for free for home use. You should take a govt ID proof to get them.
Though the saplings are not maintained properly, still they are worthy to plant.
Also, there are some monkeys inside the nursery, so don't poke them unnecessarily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a government owned nursery in Kamla Nehru Ridge area. Here you can get a variety of saplings and plants free of cost to make your surroundings greener. It is looked after by one officer and her subordinates. If you want to take plants in Non-Monsoon season then you have to take permission from the officer. During Monsoon, any staff member will give you the plants. Nearest metro station is Vishwavidyalaya. Please help in making environment greener to reduce the temperature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a great enthusiasm for tulsi, aloevera etc as read in newspaper but couldn't have any. Dry, dead saplings lying here and there. Not recommended for garden small plants. Give a try for big tree saplings. This place could be managed more properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, If you have been thinking of planting any trees but do not know where to get the plants from, this is the place.
It is a govt run nursery and hence, you get a few variety of plants.
I am a Govt Servant ans therefore I got plants for free, they might ask for your ID.
But even if they charge, it is a very nominal price.
It is right beside the road but they do not have any boards, my hands were occupied otherwise I would shave clicked the photo of the entrance, I promise I will the next time I visit.
Here are the plants that are available:
1. Aloe Vera
2. Neem
3. Bel Patra
4. Kari patta
5. Guava
6. Giloy
Etc.
