★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place.. go there during winter season.. you'll fall love in this place.. the water of Konshabati river is vere clean.. boating facilities available there .. they charge only rs 50 per person..must go for boating..and enjoy the calm environment..in the afternoon just sit in Riverside and watch the sun sets..it'll surely refresh your mind.. this is the best place for picnic go with ur family and enjoy..if you don't wanna cook food you can eat food in hotel..food price is low and quality is good.. soo many shops available there, you can buy different types of things for home decor..price is lil high..do little bargaining with shopkeeper if you want to.. different street foods available there fuchka, jhalmuri, roasted corn, ghugni, papri chaat,lemon chat, bhel puri etc.. fuchka was really delicious..
Ladies toilet available there.. little far from the river.. don't worry about the cleanliness..very good and safe to use..
You can take bath in the river.. as i said water of river is very clean..
There is a beautiful park..u can go there..i forgt the name. But park was very beautiful..
You can go Susunia pahar and mukutmanipur in same day.. first visit susunia hill enjoy sunrise from top of the hill..then go mukut manipur and enojy the beautiful view of the Kagsabati river..must go..enjoy sunset here..
For best experience come here during the winter season.. this the best place for picnic in Christmas holiday..❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dam is huge, really clean and well-maintained. While the drive is is smooth as butter, the viewpoint from top of the park located in the middle of the Dam - is breathtaking to say the least. The small office at the entry gate of the Dam will give you permit with a return time specified, but free of charge. Go there to experience the vastness of nature. Summer would be too hot though, so plan for winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dam is really awesome and the river is mesmerizing. The confluence of two rivers- Kumari and Kangshabati were so wholesome. The best time of the day is at sunset , the golden light falling on the river will make your trip worthful.The boating is a must experience to enjoy this wide and deep river. The best time to visit here is from October through the whole winter.

You'll get to see a wonderful picturesque view of the landscape in front of the dam.
You can reach this dam/mukutmanipur in the following way.
1. Direct by bus from Bankura Gobindanagar Busstand to mukutmanipur.
2. By bus from Bankura Gobindanagar Busstand till Khatra, and then take a toto till mukutmanipur/kangsabati dam from khatra more. You can also get a bus from khatra bus stand.
Best way to come here is by private car
