★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Deer Park is really enjoyable specially for the children.The spot is accessible easily by boat and Engine Van/Car after crossing the Kangsabati Dam from Mukutmonipur. The journey of 2 Kms from other side of the Dam under Ranibandh Block is actually through the forest area and enjoyable in the chill winter afternoon. The owner of the Van plays the role of tour guide. There are very good number of beautiful Deer in the Park and visitors have fair chance to watch them at the afternoon time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It takes a boat ride from either side of the dam and a Toto/can to reach there. Boat was reserved for 5 for rs 600 including island/Mohana tour from Pareshnath tample side of the dam. Van took Rs 300 to cover deer park and Sonar Bangla park. We went around 4:30 pm, the feeling time of deers and saw around 15 deers. Children sell leaves for rs 5 to feed deers. It was a good experience to feed them. Boat ride on the way adds to the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the attractions of Mukutmanipur is Banpukuria Deer Park. The way the deer have been conserved in the West Bengal Forest Department is really commendable. The local people take great care of these deer. Above all, it is a beautiful place to visit on weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good destination for nature lovers. The soothing hue of river Kangsabati makes one's mind free from any stress. Deers of the park are close to people and one can feed them with hand and it's really pleasant after the end of the journey. At least once you must visit this place to get the taste of this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The deer park is about a 10-15 minute walk from the motorboat parking area. You can hire vehicles too, which will drive you to the park and bring you back. They charge around Rs 270-300 for 7 people, and Rs 40 extra each person after that.
The deers are separated behind a mesh of steel wires. They are friendly and not afraid of humans. There are local people and children selling leaves for Rs 5, which you can feed to the deer.
Overall, it's a nice experience, but nothing amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Mukutmanipur on 30th Dec 2021. It has huge beautiful dam with deer ? park and shiv (pashupati) temple. The water ride with friends are amazing. Enjoyed a lot. The ? would love to take leaves from visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only three deer were present at the time of visit. Though there are lots of them which can only be seen at morning and 4 p.m. during feeding session. This is a very large capacity for them. That is good. Place is quite and full of sonajhuri tree.
Transportation by engine trolley is very annoying due to its loud running sound. Otherwise slow journey of this is enjoyable. But they charged little high.
To reach deer park one can take either boat ride from mukutmanipur/paresnath ghat or by road from manbazar side.
