★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are facility of local & express train upto mecheda, panskura, Howrah. Specifically in Sunday, there is one express train from contai to Medinipur, Bankura. Ticket counter 24*7 opens. Very good place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've a good rapport with this place since my teenage. Have lots of memories here. It's a small railway station, located in between Mecheda Bypass More and Kharagpur Bypass More if I'm not much navigationally incorrect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small station to reach mandarmani where Taralipi express haults for 2 mins contrary to Ramnagar where train stops for only 1 min which becomes risky to get down or board if you are travelling with bigger family groups. Not much amenities, however, station was clean.
