गोदाकाठावरील बालाजी मंदिरासमोरील कपूरथळा छत्री (डोम) म्हणून परिचित असलेली समाधीची वास्तू परिचित आहे, ती तिच्या सुंदरतेमुळे.
मात्र, याबद्दल फारशी माहिती नसल्याने कपूरथळा समाधीइतकेचं याबद्दल सांगितले जाते.
ही समाधी आहे *कपूरथळा संस्थानचे राजे राजा रणधीर सिंह* यांची. *कपूरथळा म्हणजे सध्या पंजाब राज्यातील एक शहर आहे. पूर्वी हे शीख साम्राज्यातील एक प्रांत होता.
डोमचा खालील भाग बेसाल्ट दगडाने तर वरील पांढऱ्या मार्बलचा वापर करण्यात आला आहे. *संस्कृत, ऊर्दू व इंग्रजीत तीन शिलालेख असून, संस्थांनच्या चिन्हाचाही वापर यावर करण्यात आला आहे.*
*या डोमची उंची ३० फूट (९.१४ मीटर) आहे. यावर सिंहाचे शिल्पही आकर्षक आहे.*
 * Kapurthala Umbrella (Dome) *
The Samadhi structure known as Kapurthala Chhatri (Dome) in front of Balaji Temple on Godakatha is well known for its beauty.
However, as there is not much information about it, it is said to be as much as Kapurthala Samadhi.
This is the Samadhi of * King Randhir Singh * of Kapurthala Sansthan. * Kapurthala is currently a city in the state of Punjab. It used to be a province of the Sikh Empire.
The lower part of the dome is made of basalt stone while the upper part is made of white marble. * There are three inscriptions in Sanskrit, Urdu and English and the symbol of the institution is also used on it.
* The height of this dome is 30 feet (9.14 meters). The lion carving on it is also attractive. *

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ राजा रणधीर सिंह यांचा मृत्यू वयाच्या ३९ व्या वर्षी २ एप्रिल १८७० मध्ये लंडन येथील एडन शहरात झाला. ते व्हिक्टोरिया राणीच्या भेटीसाठी समुद्रमार्गे जात असताना एडन येथे त्यांची तब्येत बिघडल्याने त्यांचा मृत्यू झाला. त्यानंतर त्यांना मुंबईत आणण्यात आले. यावेळी त्यांचा ज्येष्ठ पुत्र खडक सिंह उपस्थित होते. खडक सिंह यांनी त्यांच्यावर नाशिक येथे दहन पद्धतीने अंत्यसंस्कार केले. गोदाकाठावर कपूरथळा घाटावर समाधीचा डोम बांधण्यासाठी १२,६१० रुपये खर्च आला. डोमचा खालील भाग बेसाल्ट दगडाने तर वरील पांढऱ्या मार्बलचा वापर करण्यात आला आहे. संस्कृत, ऊर्दू व इंग्रजीत तीन शिलालेख असून, संस्थांनच्या चिन्हाचाही वापर यावर करण्यात आला आहे. या डोमची उंची ३० फूट (९.१४ मीटर) आहे. यावर सिंहाचे शिल्पही आकर्षक आहे. बालाजी मंदिराशेजारील आश्रम व मंदिराची इमारत १८७८ मध्ये बांधण्यात आली. आश्रमाच्या इमारतीसाठी १४,६९० खर्च करण्यात आला होता. या आश्रमात राम, लक्ष्मण, सीता, गंगा आणि गोदावरीच्या प्रतिमा असलेले एक मंदिर बांधण्यात आले होते. यावेळी खडक सिंह नाशिकमध्ये आले होते. हॉल बांधण्यासाठी ३५ हजार रुपये खर्च करण्यात आला.
King Randhir Singh died on 2 April 1870 at the age of 39 in Aden, London. He died at Aden while on his way to visit Queen Victoria. He was then brought to Mumbai. His eldest son Khadak Singh was present at this time. Khadak Singh cremated him at Nashik. The construction of Samadhi Dome at Kapurthala Ghat on Godakatha cost Rs. 12,610. The lion sculpture on it is also attractive. The ashram and temple building adjacent to the Balaji Temple was constructed in 1878. 14,690 was spent for the construction of the ashram. A temple with images of Rama, Laxman, Sita, Ganga and Godavari was built in this ashram. Khadak Singh had come to Nashik at this time. Rs 35,000 was spent to build the hall.
