★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lord shiv by mistakenly killed a cow, to clean his sin the Nandi told him to go to NASHIK and take a bath in Ramkund. As per Nandi's instruction Lord Shiva came at NASHIK and cleaned his sin by taking a bath in RAMKUND.So Nandi is Guru of Mahadev,You can also observe that this Shiva temple don't have any NANDI.Temple Built in 1763 on bank of Godawari where Kumb Mela is also held.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Want real temple vibes?...Attend the daily Indian drumming arati at 7pm (but on Monday and Saturday arati is atfter 9pm). Whole rock temple echoes drumming+Big temple bells+claps of devotees which gives goosebumps.

Must Visit Temple, this Temple doesn't have Nandi inside the Temple but the Nandi is in the River outside the Temple.

Temple architecture is really awesome and you can find the triveni sangam ( Godavari,varuni and tharuni)

Temple premises is big.
I visited the temple in the morning around 6.30 am.
Very peaceful, positive vibrations and positive aura, silent & peaceful environment to get the blessings from Shri Mahadev.
I would suggest you to visit the temple in the morning. You can also visit according to your feasible time. Rush expected here at any special events.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple was an abode of a kind, hosting the serene view of the panchvati as the stairs lead you to a very scenic structure. This temple can be a quick detour to the panchghat and mesmerize you with its architecture.
It's accessible with the way hoarding has been put up but the stairs can be a bit of risky journey. Overall, it was amazing to experience this pilgrimage.
