★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Karjon Park is a very well known place of Kolkata. It is very important place. Aakash Vani, Eden Garden, A G Bengal, Great Eastern Hotel, Raj Bhawan all are nearer to Karjon Park. It's decorum is also very good. People like the greenery of this place. But very accident prone zone. Many crossing has made this place very busy so pedestrian has to take care much while crossing road at this point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A historical landmark, also known as Surendranath Banerjee Park. It is a tram terminus too. However, the park will once again be disturbed for the East West Metro Railway proposed hub. Sometime earlier it had a huge population of rats and had earned the name of Rat Park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An oldest park in Kolkata. Now, it's name Surendranath Park. Adjacent to park here is Esplanade Metro Station. Many famous leaders Statues are available in the park. In the corner of park, opposite to Esplanade mansion statue of freedom fighter Rashbehari Bose is available. Governor House, Akashvani Bhavan, Esplanade bus depot etc. all are just walking distance from the park.
