★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Dr. Kartik is a superb Neurosurgeon and phenomenal doctor! He recently performed microscopic surgery of my mon's spinal tumor and I could not be happier with the results! I was aware of the process, risk, and outcome and can say without hesitation that Dr. Kartik hit a home run with this surgery as well. The nerve pain is completley gone and the recovery/healing was remarkable. His diagnosis was spot on and his care and timeliness to correct the problem was equally impeccable. Thrughout the process, Dr. Kartik and his staff at Apollo were extremely professional, thorough and very caring - a second to none team! Their attention to detail and continuous communication with me and the hospital made the process extremely simple and smooth from start to finish. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its been a year that I have had my surgery under Dr. Kartik and he is the best doctor that I have came across till now. I had migraine and been consulting many doctors.
One day out of nowhere I started to have seizures and I got admitted to Dr. Kartik. After doing several medical tests he diagnosed that I had multiple tumors in my brain and he suggested a surgery.
He is very knowledgeable and positive throughout the whole procedure which made me confident about the surgery. He has a taken good care of me during the process and even post surgery he conducts monthly checkups. I would recommend Dr. Kartik and his medical team for any neuro related problems.

I went to him few months ago when I was indisposed with unexpected Degenerative spondylosis with significant marginal osteophytes at C4 C5 and C6 levels and I’m starting to show some signs that I’m coming down with said problem. The pain was awful. As per Neuro specialists whom I consulted the Surgery must be immediate. Dr. Kartik went over my MRI and XRay films explaining where each pain complaint connected to an area of my already fused (C4-5 level) Neck. He explained what he could do and the percentage of relief I could expect. Even though I mentally prepared to undergo for surgery since the pain was hellacious, this great doctor highly recommended doing Conservative care. A very precise surgeon with compassion and realistic solutions. I am in physical therapy now and without surgery I am doing well.
I think everyone should get a second opinion when looking at a major operation. Whether Dr. Kartik is the first or second opinion, he is certainly the best! HIGHLY recommend him for anyone having back problems or spinal issues. He is always available if I have any questions. He's simply a great Doctor. He's thorough, informative, available, humble, and does incredible work. He is an amazing surgeon and is extremely well-respected.”

Have you been able to see somebody happy and rejoicing on the fact that she can walk without feeling any radiations in the leg. Yes that is my mom's case. We are from Cameroon and my mom since almost 5 years she was suffering from back pain and this become the last 2 years and severely the last past 7 months. We decided to move from our country come in Bangalore. Not an easy choice, but hoping in Jesus to help us find the right neurosurgeon who can take of my mom case. We visit 3 hospitals and 3 neurosurgeons. And we feel comfortable with Dr Kartik. Professionnaly and friendly he explains us what was going through the mri. He has been able to give my mom some peace. The surgery has been successful and during all the time we spent before admission,our stay in the hospital and the recovery time at home. The doctor has been and still available for any of our requirements. He knows his work and take care of his patients and follow them. His concern is your health and with a smile give you advices. I was suffering from lower back pain from last 5 years in April 2020 pain started radiating to my left leg and it was very severe where I was not able to sit ,sleep and walk. took MRI and Consulted Dr. K Kartik sir and patiently listened to my problems and symptoms and he explained me explained that the disc was severely compressing my nerve at the L4-L5 level and advised for surgery.Very patiently explained me the entire procedure with all details and stages of recovery and answered all my questions.I was able to walk within a few hours after the surgery. Its been 4 months, now am back to normal and doing well.
Overall, a very satisfying experience and great thanks for treatment. I recommend Dr. Kartik sir for all Neuro and Spine issues...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr.Kartik has been a wonderful doctor in guiding and treating my lumbar discectomy surgery(L5 S1). I underwent this surgery in Apollo Hospital after finding the right doctor whom I could confidently rely on for a very common but an extremely detailed surgery. We went to Dr. Kartik after reading his reviews .Even though I had consulted couple of other doctors earlier to know the problem, it was Dr. Kartik who was very calm and clearly explained about this surgery to us. He was very much available to consult over the phone even during and after my hospitalisation.The pain I carried for the past 14 months vanished right after my surgery.I’m extremely thankful to the Doctor and also people who have shared their reviews in this platform.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One fine morning my wife had major jerk in lower back with severe pain and she was not able to move at all. As first aid, we showed to physician near to our locality, he tried symptomatic treatment, but pain was not coming down at all. We rushed to Apollo Bannerghatta Road in the night under advice of Dr. Manish Samson sir. With initial treatment to reduce the pain, advised to do MRI urgently and through MRI it was discovered that there was a slip disk at L4/L5 causing lumbar nerve compression. As disc was big and causing severe nerve compression, resulting in numbness in leg along with severe pain, there was no option but surgery.
Dr. Manish Sir referred us to Dr. Karthik Sir and informed us that Dr. Karthik Sir is one of the best neuro spine surgeons. Situation was critical as nerve remaining compressed was risky. Considering the situation, without losing time, Dr. Karthik Sir helped us to give his appointment for surgery next days itself. Admission was done on Sunday and Surgery was planned for Monday, before surgery Dr. Karthik sir met us in the ward explained the process to us and gave the complete comfort feeling, in fact he spoke to us in Marathi and made us more comfortable. We met Dr. Karthik sir first time, but the kind of comfort we received was very different. Surgery was done on Monday evening, after surgery, doctor came out of OT and informed us that surgery was successful, and I was extremely relieved, doctor asked me and my daughter to see her in observation ICU. Post surgery, there was lot of personal attention and care provided until she was discharged. Doctor gave us the post discharge plan explained us how to pain will come down gradually each day and how the recovery will progress. It happened exactly the same way, really appreciate the accuracy of recovery forecast. Now my wife is back to normal, walking normally, no pain, no numbness in legs. Dr. Karthik sir is extremely intelligent and skillful doctor, truly world class doctor. We are very grateful to Dr. Karthik sir for all the support, and everything done for us.
