★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last year I purchased 2 blue "sapphires" and 2 "rubies" directly whilst visiting the Kashmir Govt. Emporium in Connaught Place. I was told they were completely natural and it was also written on the receipt that these 4 stones were untreated. I was told repeatedly that the Govt. emporium was the guarantor and if I had any complaints then I should revert to the emporium. I have paid and additional £50 for these pieces to be gemologically tested in UK (delays due to Covid and lockdowns) by the same gemologist Bonhams and Sothebys auctioneers use. These stones are classified as SYNTHETIC! I have written to the email address which sent me a copy of my receipt and I am still awaiting reply. No-body is answering their phone.
Star rating should be MANY MINUSES for cheating their customers and selling FAKE "GEMSTONES"
This the standard of India today.
