★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a well maintained park, around the historical Katraj lake. The lake water is not very clean, but has a few ducks and lots of fish. Well maintained children's play park's at multiple locations, the track itself is good for walking which is covered in lush green, but its concrete made,(guess it's easier to mantain).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Katraj is famous for its Peshwa-era (18th century) lake that supplied water the city during that period. The lake, though small, has an island, with a statue of Maratha warrior king, Shivaji and a large national flag on it and can be reached by boat (was closed when I visited). The lake is very scenic after July, it will be rainy time so it will be green all around. But I don't give 1 star just because of there isn't much to see. Some cleaning can make this place look better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A descent hangout place. The lake is surrounded by the park with a nice walkway covered with trees. There is activity area for kids and workout area for adults.
There are not many food outlets. Small eateries are there with some basic stuff.
However, the maintenance of the place is a problem. The lake and the park are not maintained, both needs regular maintenance.
Also, traffic in the adjacent areas in the evening means you end up spending more time in commuting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Morning walking, casual cycle riding place.. walkway, lakefront is very good.
But pollution of Lake is at worst level, plastic floating everywhere, water stink horrible..feels very sad seeing such a beautiful place is maintained so badly.
Good place to walk if one is willing to ignore all dirt and stink..
