★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The haven for Kerala food lovers; small but hospitable little restaurant with fresh, authentic Malayalee fare. Puttu, chicken stew, appams, beef masala and fry, parotta, we were happy happy campers! Prices are reasonable and service is fast. Definitely going back back for more ! (Heard they are opening branches in other parts of Goa as well - super!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is small yet things are fresh and the taste flavourful and original. Puttu, stew, appan and sambhar were freshly cooked and delicious. Not all types of dishes eg Idli vada etc are available at all times. Payasam probably is available on Sunday and probably this is the reason for freshness of food...Made only what can be consumed in a day. Must Go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic place. Stinking of cockroach. Was provided with stale food (Puttu and Kadala) for breakfast, Beef Fry also was of the previous day, heated and served. Egg roast was just about ok. Appam was good. Not very sure how the lunch would be. Just next door is the Mallu Republic. A far better place. Avoid this place at least for breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we just went there after digging up a bit about menu. The place is really nice and cozy for sure. Here are my observations about the place:
Ambience: it was cozy like I said , not many people can sit but was comfortable enough considering a budget place.
Staff: Attentive staff and owner , 2 good things required to make your experience good. They had knowledge about what they are serving
Food: Beef curry was out of the world delicious, absolutely perfect. Parotha was equally perfect, just loved it. Puttu was great as well. Here comes the problem, Biryani , one of the worst I have ever had because it was bland and dry and meat pieces were not cooked properly either and spices weren’t good enough , so I would highly recommend to not have it. Second flaw is availability of the cold drinks , I wish they had it available.
Price: it is a pocket friendly place which means it’s worth paying the bill which won’t be too much. 3 people can eat for the price of 600INR which is just perfect ! I literally would have given it a 5 star.
Verdict: it’s a nice place , only thing which spoiled our experience was biriyani and cold drink. But owner made up for it by asking how the experience was and also the price paid real justice , so I moved it from 3 to 4 stars. I hope when I visit next , I am convinced enough to move my next experience to 5. But if you want to try something different, Kerala food , it’s a must visit place. I will be very frequent here for sure !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went today to this restaurant for onam sadhya. I did call them before visiting the place to check if dining is available and they confirmed yes. However when I went at 12, they were busy with online delivery packaging, it was scattered all over and there was no place to sit and eat..few minutes later they gave us one table to sit and eat but the service wasn't very good as they dint pay any attention to the one who have come for dining due to their online pre orders...the one who was serving food had given us very very little food and I did hear him saying to the other person don't serve more in quantity as we will running out otherwise..we literally had to keep asking for the items...it was really disappointing as I had high expectations while going to this place for onam sadhya and it dint give us that feel at all...it was not at all worth paying 540 to them...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and drinks are not like our usual indian or goan style. Its a very different cuisine and it is to die for! Home style meals, good service and great prices!
I wish they had an a separate AC section though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely happy with the food, we had chicken stew, Appam, egg roast, porotta and dosa. Chicken stew and Appam was the highlight!! Every single dish tasted authentic Keralite food and it was yummy? the guy who served us was very nice and polite, most importantly helpful.
The place looks a bit shabby but plates, glasses and dishes were clean and fine.
It was absolutely pocket and tummy friendly??
