★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Khabar Ghar is probably the oldest Bengali sweet shop in n the area of Morepukur Rishra.
I still remember my grandpa taking me to this very old shop which used to have that old feeling.
But now everything has changed just like times.The old men have been replaced by the younger generation. The old taste has been lost somewhere and they've come up with all new sweets. The infrastructure has changed a lot.
This place is just 50 metres from the Rishra Railway crossing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This sweet shop is located 2 mins walking distance from Rishra Railway station level crossing. ?It's basically a sweet shop very renowned, having/selling varieties of Sandesh- with pure chhana and the quality of sweets is commendable. ?The most important factor is that the prices are not high and definitely afffordable for everyday eating. ?Of the best selling item I personally like & but the Pantua, kalojam, rosogolla, rajbhog, Gurer rosogolla, Gurer Sandesh, normal Sandesh, moa, malpoa, mihidana, Gurer monohara, laddu. Lot chomchom etc. Though I already had almost all the types of sweet made here, pls do check the photos of most selling items for your reference
