One of the best experiences at Jejuri, Khandoba mandir. ?50 kms away from Pune ? The bhandara festival takes place almost three times each year. Known locally as ‘sonyachi Jejuri’ or golden Jejuri, ? There's palki option as well for elderly members ?? Parking space available for 2 wheeler, cars, Traveller buses. ?? 200 per person for VIP entry ??Restroom is available near the mandir as well as near the entry of the 1st Gate ??Be assured that you carry cash. ??SBI ATM available hardly 3 mins away from 1st Gate ?? Preferably wear yellow cloths.

An ideal place for worship of a hindu deity as a manifestation of Shiva mainly in the Deccan plateau of India, especially in the state of Maharashtra and North Karnataka. The temple is full of turmeric (haldi) spread across everywhere thrown by all the worshippers on this deity that signifies gold. Temple is built long ago maybe in late 1700's. The temple is situated on the fort above for which one has to climb almost 350-400 steps. Car and bike has a different route to reach to the temple. Overall the temple has a good location and gives it's devotees a relaxed and a relieved mood.

Yalkot Yalkaot Jay Malhar ?????? Pleasant experience for me. No Covid-19 restrictions except the mask which is mandatory for your personal precautions. No pre online pass required. We went on Sunday and experienced too much crowd so avoid going on weekends. Hotels or lodge nearby are not that good so select or pre book your stay well before you plan. If you wanted to book room on the spot then please go with some of them selected hotel stays nearby temple. As for early morning darshan you have to wake up early & have to take a bath before visiting temple for that the hotel must be very near to temple. It will save your time in travelling and also you will get Darshan quickly.

Very ancient place, well maintained. Suggestions to wear white or yellow, since turmeric is everywhere. A crowd photographer can get incredible shots here.
