★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good heritage n old feel..The rooms for exhibitions r very cosy...They had the annual Goa fest in the grounds with 76 stalls over two days...It was the 9th one organised by Aami Goenkars??...Great stalls with natural Goan products such as Cashews Kokum Brown rice Aam Papad Awla squash...Paithani n Chanderi sarees..Body scrubs n foot soaks.. Jewelry..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the pappilon restaurant I have been there quite a few times but I try to go from the front entrance which is wheelchair friendly but this time I went from the other side of Khar Gymkhana they have 1 low step to enter the building which is ok for a manual wheelchair but if you have to go on an automatic wheelchair it becomes a problem but then you have to climb down and go up Two Steps each to get to the step free path but if someone is around they can open their Banquet Hall door for you to go through that so you don't have to go through the steps. the food at pappilon restaurant was good that day I have been there so many times and the quality of food is different everytime you go the most tasty thing I had that day was the Methi Malai chicken with some amazing crispy lachha paratha. we sat in the family room as I had gone for Lions Club meeting and we were about 10 of us. the reason I came from the back side was that they do not give you valet parking and they do not have parking in their premises So being on a wheelchair to find a parking is a problem. they do have an entrance from parking lot but there is no ramp at all, there are 5 to 6 high steps to climb to get to the lift so I always prefer coming from the other side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, let me clarify that this is a Members Only place and anyone can not walk in. Membership is closed for now and the last round of membership closed at 15 Lakhs. So chance for anyone to get it in near future is remote. Also, most of the reviews here are for the Ground, which is partly owned by the Gymkhana and the rest is public ground. There are no facilities on the ground. Also, many people have rated it for it's food, which again is only open to the members. It is one of the best gymkhanas in suburbs and has all the sporting facilities. Top notch club. But you can only enter as guest of another member.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been to the ground for playing cricket. The ground is good but like any other ground this too is always crowded. The leg side when facing the Gymkhana has a very short boundary so the ball keeps going outside the Gymkhana causing a concern.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would recommend this place highly for the delicious food they serve. There is lot of variety. Worth spending time with friend or family here. I really wish I could get the recipe of chicken with oyster sauce from them. It was so yummy. Most dishes were wellcooked and finger linkin good. A one time visit is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Khar Gymkhana is a club situated in the centre of Khar west a posh suburb of Mumbai. It provides all recreational and sports facilities to the locals who are members of the club. It is also used for functions and parties by members. A swimming pool and tennis courts are other highlights of the club.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is awesome and worth every rupee spent there. It just gets a bit noisy and difficult to hear what the staff is saying or what others are talking about, but that is just because it is super packed qll the time. Make sure you make reservations well in advance. The banquet halls are just perfect except for the pillars in between sometimes.
