It was built by Salabat Khan, a Jagirdar of Beed in the age of Murtaza Nizam Shah of Ahmednagar. It is said that the water level in this well remains unaffected even during droughts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The construction of the Bandi (Well) is very nice but there is excessive amount of garbage in and around the well. The water level was around 6-8 few at the time of my visit. The water is manifested but garbage and Moss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice well constructed in past by Nijam government, need to be more documented n need research on its construction, how it collects water from far distant sources, how water flows with gravity to down the well via tunnel, for supply of drinking water.

This place is known for there evergreen water storage.
This place is near the tractor showroom.
And most of time is crowdy.
Peace is to just visit it.
Nagarpalika should maintain here the cleanliness.
