Shah Tughlaq were intensely committed towards building architectural monuments. Together, they planned and built several tombs and mosques.
The regal mosque built by him was the Khirki Masjid.constructed in the Jahapanah city, it is a novel cross–axial mosque in Tughluqian architectural style built more like a fortress.
The word 'Khirki' prefixed to masjid is an Urdu word that means "window" and hence is also called "The Masjid of Windows"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its not currently a place of worship but a good place to visit. There are many bats so the place stinks get ready for bad smell before hitting there.
Its not a big place or crowded. Try to visit it at the evening.
You will have a relaxing and quite time. Try to go to roof top and enjoy the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked the place very much.. the architecture of this masjid is different.. u get some different vibes here.. its under construction right now.. but worth a visit.. u can spot bats here... This place can be considered spooky.. u will get scared at some point there... Safety cant be assured.. smokers drinkers can be spotted too..! Go on ur own risk..
