★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best Forest Rest House in entire Garhwal region. This rest house soo close to nature that you can feel bliss in solitude. Charming twitter of singing birds will wake you up in the morning. Most importantly, the ambience of the vip suit and the bamboo hut is just awesome. The VIP suit is entirely wooden finished. Deodar, sal, teak is used as ceiling and floor material. The decorum is well maintained by the caretaker. You may also enjoy the panoromic view of himalaya from here. Overall very good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The forest guest house is a government property owned by the forest department. There are 4 rooms which are made up of bamboos. The bed, the furniture and the window blinds are also made from bamboo. There is another block of few more rooms. The rooms are well furnished. There is a verandah and a lawn in front. Food facilities are not provided. One can see the Himalayan range. Peaceful environment. Good place to stay and relax. The booking is made from forest office in pauri. Eating places are nearby.
