★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chitpur railway station also known as kolkata railway station has been one of the major 3 big station in Kolkata. All long distance interstate trains departs & arrive from that station. Including the international Maitree & Bandhan express travel between Kolkata & Bangladesh also departs & arrive from that station respectively. The station is compact with all necessary facilities for the station stuffs & passengers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kolkata station are renovation few years ago . This is a most wonderful and cleanest station in Kolkata. Few years sealdah's many train's are starting here journey in this station ( Haldibari Express ) . This is a main Sub - Station in Sealed Railway Station.
This station's location are almost near my home . So many times I'm preferred for journey for train in this station. I'as seen last 2 years ago to Continued's the local train service in this station . I like it for this service.
Many people are calling this station Chitpur station . This station build nearest by " R.G. Kar Hospital " . My request for all current passenger and future passenger please don't litter in this station and all station's in our country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station is small but quite clean. However, there is a problem in getting taxis from this station. Except app cabs, yellow metered taxis are unorganised and ask for higher fares than the meter. Most of them refuse to go by meter.
Apart from this problem, the location of the station is very convenient for residents of North Kolkata, Salt Lake, and areas near EM Bypass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the terminal station for metropolitan city Kolkata. Not directly connected with all parts of the city. So in most cases, you need to hire a private car/Taxi. Clean and well mentioned terminal.
