★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is located at a short distance from Sun temple Konark. Good place to visit after visiting Sun temple, Konark, facing heat of Sun because it is centrally air conditioned. Secondly, an excellent place to know the history of Sun temple, Konark and Kalinga architect. A film is also shown to inform you about the history of construction of Sun temple. Visitor are informed through smaller rock models of Sun temple as how it was originally and what is it's position as on date. Entry ticket is ₹30/-. Stone carved status are also placed here which shows the intricacies of carvings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful museum maintained by the Indian oil....they have managed to recreate the sculptures on the temple...and they have created models of the old temple and its condition at present...every room is provided with self reading monitors from where you can read about the temples of Odhisha... different festivals of Odhisha..about the culture dance and music of the state and other historical facts...they have also arranged for a show depicting the story of how the sun Temple was built..buy whom it was built...how it was destroyed...legends behind it's destruction...and how the lost temple was ultimately restored by the British ....if you are an Ardent seeker of history ...this museum is a mandatory visit for you...
