Full of mosquitoes, food is not bad but nothing to go Gaga for! Few steps down you get Kasturi, much better option. And MRP Rs 20 bottled water is charged as 35 in the bill and the response is ' opor theke bola ache' .. no problem in paying 35 for a bottled water for fine fine but the MRP on the bottle should be 35 for that like how it is , in premium places. Overall, not going again!

It is the best restaurant for bengali dish. I am personally pleased to eat the vetki prawn fry. Must try the thali. I am very much happy to eat the nolen gurer ice cream.

Bit heavy on pocket... This is a review from Non-Bengali so don't bash me plz? Heard about this joint from friends and wanted to try it. We couple of friends decided to meet there. The restaurant is really small, they have 5-6 tables, but claustrophobic guys won't like it. Yes, they managed it pretty well but still... We ordered the below items- Gondhoraj Ghol – buttermilk-as simple as it could be-good Aam Pora Shorbot - this was too good...viscous, wish I could have more ? Fish Kabiraji - superb Bhetki Fry - soft, tender & Juicy Non-veg Thali - 2 non-veg items, veg sabzi-rice-daal - more than enough for 1 person Alu Bhaja Masoor Daal Daab Chingri - Quantity was less but taste justifies it Echor Chingari Dhakai Mangsho - oh I really liked it, don't let yellow gravy fool you...pieces were soft and go great with rice Taste- 4/5. I especially liked bhetki fry, it was juicy unlike I had in “famous biryani joint with A” Service- great, we waited 50 mins for a friend and staff did not rush us. No complaint in this zone. My thought on price- it's a bit much considering portion size is not that big. Would recommend it.

The food here was one of the best Bengali food I've ever had. We had a thali and the beverages were out of this world. I'm not a Bengali and this was my first time trying the food, a must recommend for everyone in Kolkata! Service was good and ambience was pleasant.
