Very crowded and get back to you for your reference and K R Market (Krishna Rajendra Market), or City Market is one of the largest wholesale market for Bangalore. Its named after Krishnarajendra Wodeyar, a former ruler of the princely state of Mysore. The place is heavily crowded and could be slippery. One could find the Best quality fruits and Flowers in Bangalore market is also known as City Market. This market deals with wholesale commodities - Flowers, fruits, vegetables, dry fruits etc. Most of the retailers from the city buy commodities from here at wholesale rate. KR Market is in the heart of the city, by that what I mean is, city's main bus station (KR Market, Kalasi Palya, Majestic), train station (Majestic), shopping (Chikpet, Balepet etc), entertainment options (multiple theatres, Town Hall) are quite accessible from KR Market. This also means, KR Market is jam packed most of the times, even in the wee hours of the day. It is also unhygenic (as things sold here are mostly of short-shelf life like Flowers, fruits, veggies) and crowded, I can't emphasize enough. But if you drop by as early as 5am in the morning, then you may find the Market quite colorful (Tonnes of flowers sold here). If you are looking for commodities to be bought in bulk for family functions, pooja, retail purposes, at wholesale rate, this is one of the markets in the city to shop from. You can bargain too, if you have the patience. A street photographer's delight. this market opens at 5 in the morning ...make sure you are there to witness the colorful flowers unloaded and vendors eagerly selling the beauties. the adjacent avenue road is also amazing for photography .......visit the market to enjoy the buzzing life. The vendors are people friendly and really don't mind you taking their pictures. KR market is Asia's biggest flower market. It has wide varieties of flower at cheaper prices. From here they export to various countries and states all over India. This is one of the best places to get flowers for any kind of occasions through out the year. Cheapest prices are around winter seasons where you can get 20 roses(bigger ones used in bouquet) for 40 rupees. Bargaining skills are needed sometimes to get cheaper prices. Fresh flowers are available.
