★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been to the station for the Velanakanni express. PF 1 & 2 is right in between PF3 & 4. the gate which is right under the bridge takes you to PF 4. There are not many koolie's around to carry the luggages, especially around 11pm. There were no proper announcements before the arrival of any train. The koolie that I asked for help asked Rs. 200 to carry 3bags from pf 4 to pf 2. There was no elevator for us to take the bags ourselves.
Not a great experience altogether.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Preferred railway station to go to Salem, Coimbatore andiddle and south Kerala. Station is always crowded. Beware of pick picketers and auto wallahs all around. Platforms are too short of width, for people to stand safely. Lighting and rain covering areissing at most places. Very bad or not-working public announcement system. Very limited options for decent food or drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Respected Station Head, the self ticketing machines are always out of service. No UTS scan code display in the counter. We need to stand in que for 30 mins to take one platform ticket. Why can't the staff provide 10 rupee note change to help people to take platform tickets.
Oneday I made noticed the TC staff about the self ticketing machines issue but they said it's not their job.
Could you please fix the above issues in the KR puram station and reply to this feedback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krishnarajapura railway station is a suburb station located in Krishnarajapuram which is located about 14 km away from the Bangalore City railway station. It is one of the important railway station serving the BangaloreMetropolitan area and most of the trains have a stop here. Some of the major routes include to the places of Howrah, Chennai Central, and Patna Jn. Some of the popular trains traveling to Bangalore are Lal Bagh Express(12608) to Chennai operating 7 times a week, Kanyakumari Exp(16526) to Kanyakumari operating 7 times a week, and SBC Double Deck(22625) Chennai - Bangalore Double Decker Express to Bangalore operating 7 times a week.
Krishnarajapuram railway station (station code: KJM) is located at the junction of the Old Madras Road (NH 4) and Outer Ring Road, Bangalore. The cable stayed bridge of Old Madras road crosses the tracks just near the station.
Krishnarajapuram station has about 4 platforms and 2 thorough tracks for non stopping trains. Most of the long distance trains stop at platform 4, while incoming trains heading to Bangalore City stop at platform 3. Platform 1 is long enough only for eight coaches so it is used for goods and mail trains. And apart from that existing platforms could accommodate only 19 coaches whereas all the trains which stop here have 24 coaches which causes inconvenience to the passengers. So the extension of the platforms were approved by the railways which was completed in fifteen days.
