Ball, Butterfly, Gate and Globe valves are SIL3-capable and meet the requirements of IEC 61508/ IEC 61511 standards. In addition, the product designs have been independently certified to meet PED Module B1 norms.
The in-house quality assurance and quality control capabilities are benchmarked to global standards:

- Metallurgical Lab
- Non-destructive Test Facilities
The quality of the raw materials is ensured by a stringent vendor qualification system. NDT methods are employed to qualify samples and pilot lots, and surveillance audits are carried out to ensure compliance.
100% of the valves manufactured at L&T’s plants are tested. The acceptance criteria adopted are more stringent than the requirements specified in international standards.
